Status

As of November 2016

• Designed basic benchmark model & developed R codes for the whole process
• Analysed Mumbai-Delhi & Delhi-Gawahati routes and validated various hypotheses
• Tested the accuracy of D-Trees, Random Forest, SVM and various mathematical models

As of February 2017

• Collected and analysed data for 16 routes which spanned across business & tourist routes in India
• Some of the routes had non-decreasing prices and thus the model suggested to buy the ticket always
• Implemented Gradient Boosting and statistical analysis
• Added a boolean parameter of Holidays
• Developed a basic UI for the model
